how fast the internet is

i really do love how fast the internet is.

this afternoon, i have discovered the project of a swedish museum: they collected letter from fan scarves(!), turned them into knitting patterns, and are asking people to knit those and send them to the museum. it is an internet experiement i grew curious about, so i cast on upon coming home, and knitted and "e". it does look sporty and retro.

took a pic of it, sent it to the discussion group of the project. worked on something else, came back, and saw that the person responsible for it already put the photo to the news page of the project (wit some nice comment) - it is at http://www.schalalala.de/news/e/ in case you are curious.

there's something heartwarming about the whole thing.
